Lack of Updates, SimCity Gazette

Sorry for the lack of updates lately been doing other things, however if you noticed i added a Menu page when you first load up the site, this is introducing something new ive been working on, The SimCity Gazette. The SimCity Gazette is an online news paper. The national paper of SimNation. The Gazette will cover all angles of Sim life. However i can't do all of this myself. We really could use some staff to help out with the writing of the articles, pictures, features etc. If you would like to be staff PLEASE let me know ont he Skyscraper Sims Forum. I will need your Simself aswell so i can take a picture of them for the articles. Several staff positions are needed, Photographers, Columnists, Sports Writers, Weather, Graphics

Jake's on the Sea

New Restraunt for your sims to enjoy, its all outdoor, so if it rains your in for a rough time. Its on the sea so exspect some great views in the day or even at night. You can find it in the Lot Marketplace. Link is in the menu bar to your left =)

New shopping Center for your Sims. Can be placed in any Neighborhood. Requires Base Game, University, Nightlife, Open for Buisness, Glamour Life, Celebration, Seasons. Check it out on the Marketplace =)

Marketplace Now Open!

Welcome 2008

Happy new year everyone, sorry i haven't been able to update the site a whole lot lately, been studying for my Mid-Terms which are coming up in a week or so. Forum Now Open!

Hey Everyone just thought i would say that te forum is now open! I decided to open it early since its pretty much done so click the link in the nav bar to visit it and register! The Marketplace will be coming in January Still however. The Affiliates section of the site will open shortly.

Well i have added a videos page for those of you whp may be fans of Skyscraper Films. (Personal Films company) as time progresses i will be putting all of the videos up on the videos page so when you get a chance ckeck it out! Note that the page isn't really done yet, so watch where you step :)

Forum & Marketplace FAQ's

FAQ 1:
Q: When Will the Site be Fully Operational?
A: Hopefully by about February 2008 All the componets will be online
FAQ 2:
Q: What is the "Marketplace"?
A: The Marketplace is a place where Simmers can Upload their creations (Lots, Clothes, Terrains etc.) and other simmers can download, rate, comment on them etc.
FAQ3:
Q: Is the Marketplace availible for All Users?
A: No, Only Users with a certin ammount of posts will have access to the marketplace.
FAQ 4:
Q: Are there going to be different levels of Membership?
A: Yes, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum all depending on your forum post count, those with Silver and Above will have access to the Marketplace and Chatroom (Coming 2008)
FAQ 5:
Q: Is there going to be a significent staff pressence?
A: Yes, however at this point there will be only a few staff members
FAQ 6:
Q: How Are Featured creations chosen?
A: The Staff picks what looks to be good content that was added on the Marketplace
FAQ 7:
Q: Will there be the ability to upload items to the Marketplace or will links have to be provided?
A: We are looking into Providing hosting for objects for the marketplace however if that doesn't work outside hosting will be required

Updates

Both The Lots and News Pages are Online and will be completed shortly, exspect the rest of the pages to be coming later in the week (XBOX 360, Wii etc.) For now though enjoy it.
Also there are 2 lots availible in the Lots section for downloads, with Enlargable screens.

Update: If you noticed on the side Menu there are some new Items under the "Site Features" Section, more info on these features will be posted as time goes on.

Update 2: The Links to The Forum and Marketplace have been posted on the side Menu << The Forum will be Opening on December 1st 2007, The Marketplace will be opening sometime in January of 2008. Enjoy :)
